Sunrise Ski Resort

Located in the heart of Arizona’s magnificent White Mountains, Sunrise Park Resort is a recreational paradise offering a wide range of fun and excitement. In winter, our three mountains offer some of the finest skiing and snowboarding in the Western United States.

Our 65 runs promise adventure for skiers or boarders of any level. There is also cross country ski trails, sledding and tubing area. During the Summer, we offer scenic lift rides, mountain biking, hiking, archery, disc golf, tubing slide, air bag jump, and boat rentals.

The Sunrise Park Lodge, located near beautiful Sunrise Lake, is available for comfortable lodging in the winter and summer seasons. The 100-room hotel offers great dining, indoor pool and whirlpool, lounge and game room. You can escape into the wilderness, ski, mountain bike, enjoy our annual festivals and fish to your heart’s content. Or you can simply look out on some of the most beautiful land in Arizona. Summer or winter, when you come to Sunrise Park Resort in the White Mountains of Arizona, you’ll find a land, and excitement, you’ll want to experience throughout the year.

For Snowboarders and Skiers Sunrise offers a Terrain Park. Within site of Sunrise Day Lodge, the park features implanted wood and metal rails, boxes, and a special event area with jumps ranging from beginner to advanced.

Sunrise Mountain (10,700′)

Sunrise Mountain is home to the largest variety of trails at Sunrise Park Resort. Sunrise Mountain is also home to the largest variety of lifts and regular amenities including a rental shop, sports shop, full service ski & ride show as well as a childcare facility and a total of 4 different places to eat.

Apache Peak (11,000′)

Looking for a spectacular view, a breathtaking lodge and epic trail runs that will keep you coming back for more? Apache peak is centrally located between Sunrise and Cyclone Mountain. This Mountain is home to some of the widest and heaviest snowfall covered runs at the Resort.

Cyclone Mountain (10,700′)

Cyclone Mountain is home to the steepest and most challenging trails at the Resort but still leaves room for additional parking, a dedicated rental shop and a Base Area Lodge complete with bar, cafeteria and Ticket Booth.

Arizona Snow Bowl

Flagstaff is much different from the Arizona you’re picturing. Here in northern Arizona, cacti and desert heat give way to cool pines and scenic, snowy peaks. Located on the majestic San Francisco Peaks at 9,500 feet above sea level, Arizona Snowbowl is your year-round high elevation destination, whether you’re skiing in the sun in the winter or escaping the desert heat in the summer.

Arizona Snowbowl is located on the western slope of Mount Humphreys, the tallest point in the state. Humphreys is the most recognizable point on the San Francisco Peaks, which are north of Flagstaff. “The Peaks,” as they are often known, are what remains of an eroded, dormant stratovolcano that was formed between 500,000 and 1,000,000 years ago.

In winter, the lifts operate from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. daily including all major holidays. Rentals, Guest Services and Ticket Windows open at 8:30 a.m on weekdays and 8:00 a.m. on weekends and holidays.
